Brian Cody The original mix is a bit of a classy cut of progressive that from the start rustles up an immediate warm atmosphere.Mixed in is a blend of chunked-up beats and sliding melodies that begin to move around underneath while a totally groovacious percussive rhythm sets the mood which lasts throughout . As the bassline kicks in synth chords begin to set the pace as other slight melodies appear and work in tandem to create a more lush vibe , breaking down and letting the full force of the melody take over. Keeping with a Turk flavor the remix is placed in the hands of Kaan Duzarat who appeared on Only's first release. He polarizes a take of the original keeping with the warm, body hugging melodies but taking the groove down to a deeper level adding a bouncier , almost live bassline along with rhodes chords and breathy pad sounds . Scattered right the way through are little breaks that either paint an uplifting picture or a contrasting chuggier shade as a rumbling bassline comes to the fore. As we've heard before Subsky creates a highly polished sound however the remix has an insatiable angle to it that there's no getting away from. Personal - 8/10

Samer Salhab, Pangea Review by Rob Warner "Rainman" is a solid progressive house number which has all of the right elements to get the dance floor going. It starts with a solid beat, adds the deep, bubbly bassline and follows it up with smooth, emotional keys giving it that x-factor that is so often missing in this type of track. If the original isn't your cup of tea then turn it over for the flip. Kaan Duzarat steps in with his trademark sound including ethereal breakdowns and an acid synth added from the main breakdown which will give any dance floor a good kick in the pants. This is a top notch release from Only Records and Subsky who are on fire in 2005. Highly recommended for fans of the Sander Kleinenberg or Anthony Pappa type sound.
Progressive–Sounds.com, Subsky – Rainman Hailing from Istanbul, 26 year old Goktug Citci has been involved with music since a very young age. After working in Radio Cool in 1997, Goktug discovered progressive music. By 2001, his alias Subsky was formed, and as they say, the rest is history. Rainman is due for release on Only Records, who host an impressive roster containing artists such as Christian Cambas, Jay Wave, and Jose Zamora. The Original Mix boasts the refreshing style of mellow progressive which is trademark of Subsky. The bassline goes deep, giving it a progressive feel, whilst introducing an uplifting melody over the top giving the track quite a light feel to it. Those familiar with Subsky's previous works will know this sound well, and while there may not be anything particularly new to this track over his other works, it is sure to be welcomed warmly by many. Turkish DJ / producer Kaan Duzarat found his direction when he started working for Istanbul's Dinamo electronic music radio station. His remix of Rainman takes the track to a deeper level, giving it a real groove which smoothes over the original in many ways. Many elements of the original still remain in tact, but its the little things which matter, and the little things are what have been improved in this mix. This would be a great track to warm the crowd up, as its sexy vibe is sure to be able to work any crowd. A fair release for Only Records, and the Kaan Duzarat Mix is worth checking out. However, for those looking for sounds which are distinctively different, then maybe this could be passed up. If the classic Subsky sounds are your thing, then definately give this one a chance.
Sound Revolt - www.soundrevolt.com - Reviewed by Lukasz Napora After a very good first and a pretty good second release it’s time for the third vinyl from the Romanian label. This time it all went into Turkish hands and turned out to be the best Only’s outing to date. Subsky in an interview for us said, that there were still some of his older tracks going to come out and “Rainman” sounds like one of them. You don’t have to be a big fan to recognize the author of this production after a moment of listening. On one hand we have an energetic and trancey rhythmic section and on the other a dreamy dance with a keyboard at which Subsky is a true Fred Astaire But also Duzarat did very well going with his remix slightly in the Silicone Soul direction. Thanks to vivid congos and frivolous bass it’s still a full on party track but with a warm, deep house feel. I don’t suppose I should convince anyone about the greatness of Subsky and it looks like Kaan is trying to equal his friend. With such progress some day he might succeed.
Adi Dumitra (Only Records Label Manager / Owner) As being the first artist weve started the label with Kaan will always have a place in my heart, but apart from that ( and im sure im going to second more reviewers/dj’s/artists here), he is definitely and amazing talent in the field of electronic music and also a solid Dj .We were lucky enough to bump into each other last year when the label took off…and what a solid start we had! His track – "Organic Intellectual" got some amazing feedback from all over the world showing everyone that Kaan is and will be definitely a one to watch for. Apart from his music being played by one of the leading Dj’s in the world nowadays, his new productions are totally following the new trend right now which means only one thing : this guy has what it takes! – the TALENT!
