Artists > 3 Colours At the age of ten he started taking music lessons, playing the electronic organ. After 6,5 years of lessons and 4 diplomas he quitted. At that time he was already begun to discover the world of the production of electronic music. At the age of 15 he started spinning records together with his older brother David (Dj David Leese). Fascinated at that time by dj’s like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, his style developed from trance to the progressive house he’s now producing and playing. Inspired by many great dj’s like, Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, Remy, Bart van Wissen, James Holden, Perry O’neil to name a few. After a half year of spinning he set his first steps into the production of electronic dancemusic. Starting off with little programs like MODplugtracker, later with Fruityloops and finally with Cubase sx. His first succes showed up early 2004, when he was one of the five winners of the remix competition from Oceanlab’s "Satelite". A few months later Perry O’neil picked up his track, 3 Colours - Accessible, and played it several times. Early may 2004 he produced a track called, Spring of Day(motion recordings), together with a good friend/producer, Hans Peeman(Junktion). The track gained a lot of respect from many dj’s/producers. After this he met more dj’s and producers from holland and from other countries. Ending up sofar with a forthcoming release on Motion recordings and soon a release on Only Records with the two tracks, ‘Picture this’ and ‘95th street’. These last two tracks were played a lot by talent Dj/producer Terje Bakke in his radioshow and I owe him many thanks for the promotion. For the future there’s many more to be expected from Daniel (3 Colours).
