Artists > Jay T
On 2002 he was introduced to Dj Viton and some weeks later he was given the chance to play before him on his weekly residency at club Venue, Athens. His first night was a big success. So Viton continued to support him and since then they 've been playing together, up until now. Furthermore, Jayt started to have his own events alongside with friends at small local clubs and became also a member of the Local Underground team, Viton, Jose Zamora , Kosmas Espilon, KST , hosting monthly events at major clubs in Greece. In 2004 Viton introduced him to Jose Zamora and Kosmas Espilon. As a result, they pushed him to focus more on production than djing. Using his pc he started to compose his own music without many success at the begining. But his love for music made him become more committed ,spending countless hours for months in front of his pc, reading books and getting tips from his friends Viton, Jose and Kosmas concluded in him going a step further by expressing his feellings through music and becoming more and more creative. His very first productions were some original tracks (El Unico, You Are ) and some rmxs on John Creamer & Stephane K - Forget The World / Wish You Were Here . As time passed by his productions became better and better and gained the support of many djs and producers that recognized his talent such as hernan cattaneo, damian dp, darioef, yvel & tristan, kosmas epsilon, viton, jose zamora, j&s project, stian klo (furry nipples/elusive) ,baunder, vsag, ricky ryan, adi dumitra (only records), andy newland etc. On early 2005 Jose Zamora introduced him to Adi Dumitra (Only Records Manager). After some months he signed his first EP at Only Records coming out on digital format during summer 2005 (Jayt - It Was Only A Dream EP). Also Viton used a track called Jayt - E Dreams on his compilation Local Underground Vol. II (Planetworks/Local Underground) which was on stores on June 2005. Recently Jayt did some remixes on Vsag-Breathe and Kosmas Epsilon-Shame and he is working along with Viton for a new track which will appear on Viton's forthcoming album. Some of his new and older tracks are signed to Blaq Velvet / Fiberline. Jayt was inspired by artists such as: chris micali, tone depth, ste , kosmas epsilon, luke chable, james holden, ozgur can, matthew dekay, lexicon avenue, kasey taylor, john creamer & stephane k, different artists with different style of music. Soon Jayt will appear on the following radio shows: (Eccentric Beats) hosted by Jorge Dept, a radio show hosted by Yvel & Tristan and on a guest mix for Viton & Jose Zamora Playground show at Proton Radio.
