Artists > J & S Project It's a fusion between a musician and a dj, between melodies and grooves. Based in Pompei, near Naples, South of Italy, under the vulcano called 'Vesuvio', where the electronic music scene was always full of talented producers. Angelo has a great experience of live performances with synthesizers instead Tony has a long experience as underground dj, and in 2002 they realized they had the same target in their life: to create music, so they decided to be together in this adventure. J&S project's sound could be defined as a mixture between the Alan Parsons' Project progressive sounds and the golden old Danny Tenaglia's tech-house grooves; in a few words, as They like to say, their style is Wide House. J&S project’s tunes are in the playlists and charts of top djs like: James Zabiela, MOSHIC, G-Pal, Randall Jones (Tigerhook Corp), Jeff Bennett, M.A.S. Collective, Stefano Greppi, Perry O'Neil, James Wilson and many more. TONY S aka Antonio SMALDONE In the 1990's, Tony started following performances of dj producers like David Morales and the myth of MAW. At the end of the 1990's he started to enter into the ‘new electro world’, influenced by Techno Music and by the evolving electronic scene. In this period his favourite productions are Tech-House and Deep-House styles like Peace Division, Deep Dish and the live performances of djs Carl Cox or Danny Tenaglia, but without forgetting his House Music origins. In 1998 Tony started courses as a Sound Engineer. In 2002 Tony decided to start his new adventure...the time was good to become a dj/producer... and the J&S project was born...

Angelo started to study jazz piano and listening to Miles Davis’ evolution to electronic jazz. In this period he started his interest with Computer Music and Electro Music. In 1997 he trained as a Sound Engineer going on many Courses.
