One half of Titania, Steve is a producer/DJ from Edinburgh, UK.

Steve's musical style clearly reflects his passion for music of all genres with a unique ability to program music that resonates throughout a dance floor and beyond, creating a freewheeling, open ended playground for the ears and feet.

His much in demand skills tease a swaying groove from you, a slow-burn rather than a rush for the finish line, bustling with energy; layering elements to bring the crowd to a slow boil. As well as countless gigs at clubs and festivals around the country, Steve was also resident at Edinburgh based clubs Breakitdown and Redux.

The past year has seen Steve regularly dj along side acts such as Xpress2, Slam, FC kahuna, James Holden, Funk D'Void, Anthony Pappa and James Lavelle.

Steve is also part of the hotly tipped up and coming live act UNIT, which not only has been wowing crowds with their live sets, but also have a impending EP about to be released.

2006 also sees Steve join forces with Stallos under the Titania moniker with release of their track Incriminating Evidence on Only Records. With plenty more tracks under the UNIT and Titania monikers as well as his own work in the pipe, your sure to see a lot more of him this year.

Forming the other half of Titania is Stallos, a DJ/producer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

His love affair with dance music has lasted over ten years drawing on vast range of influences from his early childhood.

In the DJ booth, Stallos constantly merges the boundaries between progressive, tech-house and electro.

The musical landscape has mutated and changed considerably since Stallos' first gigs back in '95.  One thing has remained the same however, Stallos' enthusiasm and fervour for delivering new and exciting music.  

Its not just the music that has changed, technology has now revolutionised the scene immeasurably. Constantly innovating and never afraid to experiment, Stallos' current DJ sets fuse his production skills and appetite for underground music in an explosive way.

Using a combination of Ableton Live, synthesizers and decks, no two sets are ever the same.

"The amalgamation of DJing and Producing in a live setting electrifies me" says Stallos. The enthusiasm and energy he brings to a club transcends straight onto the dance floor, keeping smiles on the faces of clubbers and promoters alike. 

In the studio, Stallos is already gaining attention from some of the most respected people in the industry.

His production style is unique and you can guarantee every sound that makes it onto one of his tracks has been mangled and processed using the latest technology. It is this dedication and meticulous attention to detail that is starting to bring him the recognition he deserves. 

2006 looks set to be a big year for Stallos. With a number of new productions underway and a host of DJ gigs lined up, things are already looking very busy. Stallos has teamed up with BreakitDown resident DJ Steve Foulds under the production name of Titania. Their complimentary styles blend effortlessly and the resulting sound is deep, spacey and full of evolving soundscapes.

Their first release "Incriminating Evidence" is due out on hot label Only Records later this year. Watch out for future releases from this duo in the coming year.
